We're happy to announce that our TMS Business product license price is now 395 EUR, which is 20% lower than the previous price of 495 EUR. The main reason for this is that support/upgrade period will now expire in 1 year, compared to the existing 2 year period. As expected, renewal prices will be now 50% lower than current prices.

Changing the support/upgrade period to one year will make it easier for customers to schedule upgrades and budgets. It will also make the product more acessible - not ony for new licenses, but also for both upgrades and renewals, which will also have their price reduced.

TMS Business is our bundle framework that includes, among other products, the renowned TMS Aurelius and TMS XData. Aurelius is the state-of-art ORM framework for Delphi, while XData is the solid, easy-to-use and full-featured REST/JSON backend framework, which, among other things, nicely couples with TMS Web Core to create the ultimate web-development solution for Delphi.

TMS Business also includes TMS Scripter, TMS Data Modeler, TMS RemoteDB, TMS Echo, TMS Diagram Studio and TMS Workflow Studio.

So you are almost doubling the price. How is that good news?

For those of us in the emerging markets, especially Nigeria, this not a good news at all.

Ivan and Ere, we are not doubling the price. We are actually reducing the price. The renewal fee will be half of the current fee, thus it’s the same but now you have the option to pay the second year one year later - or not pay at all.
The license price has been reduced also. Please ask any question if you have doubts, but this is real improvement.

Hi Wagner

my business license is expired but in a little while I wanted to update it. With before price policy the update was cost € 395 for 2 years. Now the price for the update is € 270 for year (so € 540 for two years). Where is the advantage? If it''s not like that where I wrong?

Best Regards

Claudio

@Claudio, the price you pay to renew TMS Business for an extra year is 115 EUR. Do the math.

Sorry Wagner,

the cost of the last upgrade I had done 2 years ago (25/08/2016) had cost € 295. So now the update for 2 years costs me € 540 against € 295 that I paid before.

Why are you saying update for 2 years is going to cost you 540 EUR? It''s ONLY 115 EUR for an extra year. That would be 230 EUR for two years, and half of it will be paid one year later.

From my license page:

"Upgrade Offer
TMS Business Subscription upgrade
270 EUR instead of 395 EUR (30% discount) for a full new version cycle of free updates and priority support"

That''s probably because it''s not a renewal. A renewal must be done up to 30 days after a license is expired. Your license is probably expired more than that. Still, for the old price you would pay 345 EUR, not 270 EUR.

Maybe the € 115 are applicable if the license is still "active"? As I wrote above my license expired on 25/08/2018. Unfortunately I''m changing society and I will be able to renew the license only in a few weeks
