Wednesday, June 5, 2024
In the last few months since the announcement, we have been hard at work adding new features and tweaking where necessary to bring StellarDS.io to the next level. We have received various feedback from our Closed Beta testers and are now ready to bring it to the public.
Everyone will now be able to register and get a head start using StellarDS.io. And the best thing, the service will be free during the Open Beta period. To ensure you get to experience everything StellarDS.io has to offer, we are enabling every project to be at the enterprise level.
What is StellarDS.io
StellarDS.io is our fast and easy solution to let your application use a backend as a service. Using the power of our REST API, you can easily fetch and manipulate data in the cloud. StellarDS.io even enables you to set up a whole database with only a few API calls. We handle everything a backend might need, from data storage and manipulation to security and privacy. There is no need anymore for hosting servers or implementing new security measures. StellarDS.io will handle this for you, leaving more room for implementing the things you want.
What's new
1. Customizing OAuth login screen
We have added the option to customize the OAuth login screen to better fit your own applications. To enable this, simply log in to StellarDS.io and go to the Login Screen Editor. There, you can select the colors you want, add a gradient, and even add a logo.
2. External sign in providers
We have now added four new ways to sign in. Use your Microsoft, Facebook, Google, or Apple account to quickly create an account and get up and running without hassle.
3. Inviting new users
You can now add members to your project to start using our API. The invitation of people who already had an account was already possible, but now you can add new people to your project. They'll have to sign up with the email address that was used to invite them, and they'll be able to access your project. You can grant them whatever permissions are needed and even block them from accessing the stellards.io application if necessary.
note: This feature needs to be enabled in the project settings.
4. Python SDK
A new SDK designed to simplify StellarDS.io REST-API
interactions. For developers looking to get started, you can easily access this on our GitHub repository, which includes a demo to help you get started.
TMS WEB Core & FNC Cloud Pack
To make integration for Delphi users even easier, we provide extra components for TMS WEB Core and TMS FNC Cloud Pack. In the spirit of low-code RAD component based development, these components will make setup even faster. You will only need to provide a few settings to get you up and running, no endpoints to learn or HTTPs requests to make yourself.
You can read more about these components here:
Or use our Start Guide and set everything up manual in every framework or language to you want.
