Adding many items to the list fast

To add many items to the TEditListBox, the use of BeginUpdate / EndUpdate will significantly accelerate this:

Selecting and displaying Disjunct Dates in AdvSmoothCalendar

To Select disjunct dates, just use the procedure SelectDisjunctDates and pass an array of TDateTime:

  d: TDateTime;
begin
  d := Now;
  AdvSmoothCalendar1.SelectDisjunctDates([d, d+2, d+4]);
end;

This will select the current date, the current date + 2 days and the current date + 4 days.
To display the selected dates you can loop through the DisjunctDates array:

Retrieving the selected dates in a TPlannerMonthView

The TPlannerMonthView holds a collection of selected dates via : PlannerMonthView.Dates. The list of the selected dates can be retrieved via looping through this collection as following code snippet demonstrates:

Printing GDI+ charts

Below is a sample to print GDI+ charts:

The GDI+ charts are a combination of GDI and GDI+. some elements are drawn in GDI and some elements are drawn in GDI+. Therefore printing a GDI+ chart directly on the printer canvas (which has a different DPI) results in elements with incorrect dimensions. The sample shows how a GDI+ chart can be printed on a bitmap, which is then printed on the printer canvas.

How to get the selected item

AdvOutlookList.FirstSelectedItem : POGLItem returns the first selected item, from there AdvOutlookList.NextSelectedItem allows to further query for other selected items. NextSelectedItem returns nil when there are no more selected rows.

TAdvStringGrid
Show inplace editor in a special color

By design, the background color of the inplace editor is shown in the same color as the cell background color. This way, the inplace editor looks transparent wrt the grid. If there is a need to show the inplace editor with a different background color, to draw attention for example, following code can be used:

To make a toolbar on a TAdvDockPanel floating use:

with X,Y the coordinates where to put the floating toolbar.
To dock the toolbar back to the TAdvDockPanel, use:

AdvToolBar.ManualDock(AdvDockPanel);
