Meet José Leon Serna at TMS Training Days 2026

The countdown to TMS Training Days 2026 continues, and we’re getting closer to gathering in Rotterdam on April 23 and 24. Today we’re shining the spotlight on our seventh featured speaker, José Leon Serna.

José is a seasoned software engineer and visionary creator, best known as the creator of Delphi for PHP and HTML5 Builder. With a deep background in IDE architecture and developer tooling, he served as Director of Engineering and Branch Manager at Embarcadero Technologies between 2010 and 2016. During that time, he played a major role in shaping RAD Studio, focusing especially on the IDE itself, the heart of the developer experience. His work helped drive the evolution of multi-device development, turning RAD Studio into a more versatile and integrated environment for modern software creation.

Having dedicated much of his career to IDE development, José continues to explore new ways to enhance developer productivity and creativity. This passion now fuels his innovative work with TMS WEB Core VSC.

At this year’s TMS Training Days, José will present two sessions: “From Delphi to TypeScript” and “AI-driven TMS WEB Core Development in Visual Studio Code”. In these talks, he’ll explore how developers can extend their Delphi mindset into the web space, adopting TypeScript with TMS WEB Core to create high-performance applications in modern tooling like VS Code.

Whether you’re curious about web migration, AI integration, or simply want to learn from one of the minds who helped shape RAD Studio itself, José’s sessions are ones you won’t want to miss.
