TMS Software Delphi Components

With Windows 10 reaching its end of life today, we want to reassure you that all TMS Software components have been tested and confirmed to work flawlessly on Windows 11. You can continue developing, deploying, and maintaining your projects with complete confidence on Microsoft’s latest operating system.

Microsoft will continue supporting the Windows 10 version of Edge until October 2028. This is important to keep in mind since some of our components, including TTMSFNCWebBrowser in TMS FNC Core and TAdvWebBrowser in TMS VCL UI Pack, use the Edge browser engine. Future Edge updates may include features that are only available on Windows 11, which could create differences for Windows 10 users.

To ensure the best experience and long-term compatibility, we recommend upgrading to Windows 11. This keeps your development environment secure, supported, and future-proof for the years ahead.

Still on Windows 10?

Microsoft has extended security updates for Windows 10 until October 2026 as part of the Extended Security Updates (ESU) program. This offers users and organizations extra time to plan their migration to Windows 11.

These updates don’t install automatically, so you’ll need to sign up yourself to keep receiving them.

How to stay protected on Windows 10

Starting October 14, 2025, eligible devices will show a message in Windows settings with the option to join the ESU program. To activate it, open Settings, go to Update & Security, and choose Windows Update. If your device qualifies, you will see an option to sign up for extended updates. Select Sign up now and log in with your Microsoft account to complete registration.

Once registered, your Windows 10 system will continue receiving monthly security patches until October 2026.

At TMS Software, we are committed to ensuring our components remain compatible, stable, and secure across all supported versions of Windows. By upgrading to Windows 11, you are ready for the future while continuing to benefit from the reliability you expect from TMS Software.
