Delphi everywhere

Friday, June 3, 2011

Admittedly, I borrowed and abused the title of the previous blog "Tiles everywhere" a bit for this blog, telling about the activity in the Delphi community everywhere around the world.
On June 8 and 9, Piacenza Italy is the place to be for Italian Delphi developers. Marco Cantù organises the Delphi Day 2011 for the tenth time!. Marco Cantù will speak about migration to Delphi 64bit, Jason Vokes from Embarcadero will comment on the current state of Delphi, David I will address attendees directly from Scotts Valley, Giovanni Pistarini will talk about testing. Bruno Fierens from TMS software will give a presentation on modern user interface design in Delphi and also about creating mobile web applications with VCL for the Web.
In the Netherlands, on June 18, there is a Pascal dag. An entire day devoted to Pascal programming. More information about the "Pascal dag" can be found here. TMS software will also give a presentation on this event about mobile web application developement with VCL for the Web. Another interesting session will be about iPhone and iPad development with the Pascal language and a session about the kbmMW framework.
Lots of reasons to leave your office for a day and learn about interesting new things in Delphi and mingle with other Delphi developers.
