So, a new year is around the corner and as always, the transitioning to a new year brings a time for reflection. While there are already several ongoing projects running for Q1 2025, we are still pondering on the bigger scope of planning for the entire year 2025. We want to make sure we do the right things. The better the efforts of our team are aligned with your needs & wishes, the more successful we will all be. To help steering this, we created this poll. We invite you to indicate where you think our team should put the most efforts. Of course, anything that falls outside the scope of the poll questions, feel free to add these in the blog comments.
We look forward to all your inputs and we will of course share the results in a couple of days! (Make sure to log-in on our website to see the vote)

I certainly can''t use the full level of all the innovations you''ve provided in 2024, but I''m really satisfied in the area I''m in.
I hope and wish you that not only my opinion will remain similarly optimistic for 2025!
Nevertheless, I think that others who work in the field every day will provide you with useful and practical recommendations.

Extend StellarDS to support back-end scripting in Object Pascal. That means interpreted, not compiled, so it''s easy to update. Maybe JS generated by pas2js, or even typescript.

Danke

-FNC for web core typescript version seperate and not depend on delphi or FMX with full right to left support.
- All back end staff (Biz bundle) for node js and type script.
- excel reporting for typescript and web core.

A "Step by Step guide for Idiots" like me on how to make/use X-Data server/services with databases would be nice. And using only the wizards, with no modifications of the generated wizard code.

Why should TMS and Delphi be polluted with .NET garbage? If you love dot net so much, Microsoft is waiting for you with open arms in Visual Studio. We''ve all been hearing for 25 years about how the future of Delphi doesn''t look good, and yet here we still are, better and stronger than ever. One of Delphi''s many strength is in the fact that it''s NOT dot net.
To TMS:
It''s absolutely critical that whenever you introduce new features and new components, you provide clean/simple/working demos on the day of launch, and not months or years later.

I suppose that TMS VCL Plugin Framework supports only Windows applications for VCL in its name. Do you think that there would be possible to have something similar for MacOS applications ?

FNC expansion with a good and integrated report tool (bands), connected to FNC Chart and Dashboard.

It''s a very good job work on mobile handling permission in an easiest way, read/write directory and more....

We will be waiting for inline images support when sending emails with TTMSFNCCloudMicrosoftOutlookMail with impatience.

The support of SFTP transfers in FNC pack.

Correspondingly, I''m looking for everything that is marked as "FNC" or related to "FNC" (I have ALL-ACCESS TMS license).
In cross-platform group the most attractive for me is Apple (Mac, iOS) from POV of hardware quality, UI and their eco system for developers comparing to others...
Unfortunately Apple doesn''t read this New Year''s wishes blog :-) and I can''t submit my wish to them: to acquire Delphi, make it Mac and free (just regular 100$ yearly for Dev. license). They would get 1 ml experienced developers in 1 day who will pay back.
Happy New Year!

1. Handlel all TMS Software products (especially Web Core).
2. Have a "batch" capability to auto-install several products that are listed in a user-editable text file.
3. Be able to auto-generate the above file from an existing setup, thereby allowing easy reinstallation or mirroring of a particular setup onto another RAD Studio instance.

You need to run it in the existing setup (point 3), and it will generate a file "smart-restore.bat". Then, you run smart-restore.bat in the machine where you want to duplicate the setup, and it should recreate it. This is indeed something that could be added to smartsetup directly, so you don''t have to download/create a bat file to do it, and also to cover certain scenarios that this bat won''t cover (like for example, using smartsetup to install a component from a git repo). But for the moment, this should work. You can for example put the smart-restore.bat generated file in git, and someone can clone the repo and get the same setup. (but if you put it in git, it might make sense to also put tms.setup.yaml in that repo, and remove the line "echo call :create-tms.config.yaml ^>tms.config.yaml" from the bat, so the file isn''t recreated.
I also agree with wagner that it will be best to discuss this in our support forums, where we can paste code, attach files, and screenshots

I would like to see components that support mobile projects. Specifically, I need dialog boxes for choosing and opening files on mobile devices. I need something like TFrameStand to organize complete mobile apps and their screens.
