It is a great shock and it is with deep sadness we learned this week that Embarcadero technical Delphi representative for Germany, Matthias Eissing passed away. 

We extend our condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues this way. We are thinking of you and sending you strength.

I learned to know Matthias Eissing many many years ago as a warm, helpful, friendly, open person and of course also as a Delphi enthusiast who helped the German speaking Delphi community wherever and whenever he could. At numerous Delphi conferences, gatherings, events, ... I met Matthias and we always had fun and interesting conversations. We also invited Matthias several times as Embarcadero representative on our TMS Training Days including last year in May and every time Matthias didn't hesitate to come, assist and in the process making it a good time for everyone present. 

Matthias passed away way too early and we will sorely miss him. I will be forever thankful for the good times we had together, the insightful exchanges, engaging discussions and for all the help he offered.
