Can I mix my own JavaScript libraries/CSS together with the automatically generated code?
Yes, existing JavaScript libraries and frameworks can be used. There is out of the box support for jQuery and jQuery UI controls. CSS can be used to style pages.

Can I create a default HTML template to use within a TMS WEB Project?
Yes, other than using the Delphi IDE form designer for WYSIWYG design of your web pages, you can create pages using HTML template files and using CSS. You can easily link UI HTML elements in the HTML page to controls on the Delphi IDE form designer and use the IDE just for creating the inter-UI control logic & UI control to server logic.

Which language is used for development?
The Pascal language is used. All client-side code is fully developed with the Pascal language. All UI controls are provided in Pascal code. Interfacing to existing JavaScript code is seamless

Do I really need the Delphi IDE to develop with TMS WEB Core?
The IDE is not strictly needed. The compiler can be invoked from the command line too to compile projects.

Do I need TMS XData to connect to databases?
No, TMS WEB Core supports connectivity to other microservices as well. It is also possible to use node.js, ASP.NET core, Embarcadero RAD server or other microservices technology instead. TMS XData offers the advantage of developing your microservice also using the Pascal language.

What is the license model?
TMS WEB Core comes with a simple and no-nonsense license model. The license is per developer. There are no runtime licenses. Developers with a license receive in addition to the full working software also one year of free support and free updates.

Can I create custom UI controls?
Yes, you can create your own TMS WEB Core UI controls. The full source to all UI controls delivered with the product is included and can be used as a guideline for how to develop custom TMS WEB Core UI controls.

I want to get started with TMS WEB Core. Where to get it?
TMS WEB Core is available to purchase here. TMS WEB Core is also included with TMS ALL-ACCESS. A trial version is available from the product page.

Do users need a browser plugin or anything special?
No! All that is needed is a HTML5 standard compliant web browser. TMS WEB Core applications run on any modern desktop browser or mobile device browser

Does TMS WEB Core offer responsive design?
Yes. The full responsive design techniques that are available with HTML/CSS or in combination with popular frameworks like bootstrap can be easily used from TMS WEB Core applications. You can create a responsive page layout and hook your application logic created from the Delphi IDE in Pascal to this responsive page.

Can I debug my code?
Yes. With the necessary compiler magic, you can fully debug your applications from browsers Chrome and FireFox. You can step through your Pascal code, set watches, breakpoints in Pascal code etc...
