Blog: Use Tailwind and the Tailwind workflow with TMS WEB Core

Are you a fan of Tailwind CSS? If so, we've got great news for you! Our new blogpost will show you how to effectively use Tailwind and the Tailwind workflow with TMS WEB Core to create stunning web applications. Tailwind CSS is an incredible open-source CSS framework that's been rapidly gaining popularity. Unlike traditional frameworks like Bootstrap, Tailwind offers a massive library of fine-grained classes, giving you the freedom to mix and match for your HTML elements. However, with this abundance of classes, the full Tailwind CSS file can become quite large.

But don't worry! Tailwind addresses this issue by using an intelligent engine that scans your HTML files to identify and extract only the necessary CSS classes. This on-demand approach helps reduce the overall file size and improves performance significantly.

Excited to get started? We'll take you through the step-by-step process of combining these two powerful tools in our blog post. Get ready to unlock a whole new level of web development possibilities with Tailwind CSS and TMS WEB Core!

Summer DIY Project: Creating a web playground using FNC Components

summer project blog picture

We are always looking to find new and interesting ideas to show the power of our components. As such we have decided to do another Summer DIY project as we think this is a fun way to learn to use our components in real life applications. 2 years ago we created a navigation application using TMS FNC Maps and TMS WEB Core.

This summer we introduce you to TMS WEBLab, an application that let's you create and test HTML, CSS & JavaScript snippets in a cross-platform Delphi FMX application. With this project, you can not only build this application for Windows, but also for Linux & macOS.

As a bonus, you can use this application to experiment and try different HTML fragments, CSS styles & JavaScript snippets to implement in your own form templates for TMS WEB Core projects...

For a limited time, we're offering an exclusive 20% discount on TMS FNC Component Studio with the action code SUMMER23. Don't miss this opportunity to streamline your application development and enhance your user interfaces with our versatile components. But hurry, this offer is only valid until August 15, 2023!

Already a licensed user of a separate FNC product? We've got you covered too! Existing users looking to upgrade to the full TMS FNC Component Studio bundle can reach out to sales@tmssoftware.com to request a personalized best upgrade offer.

Blog: TMS WEB Core and More with Andrew: Notifications via E-Mail with XData/Indy

There could be any number of events that a user of a TMS WEB Core app might want to be notified about. Perhaps an update to content found within the app. A notification about a recent login. Or maybe the user wants to receive a report summarizing some aspect of the data found within the app. Could be any of a thousand things. How do we send them such a notification? And what are our choices for communication channels? There are almost as many options. In this post, we're going to show how to send e-mails, where we'll be using an XData server and Indy to take care of the hardest parts.
